This saddle is an actual, authentic Jack Wieneke Australian saddle (unlike the new American saddles made in India or Mexico). It has great quality leather and stitching and will last a very long time if properly oiled and cared for. I had my saddle-maker friend (who spent some time in Australia) look it over when I bought it and he was impressed with the quality of materials and workmanship. It does have some water spots on the seat which have stained the leather, but do not affect the integrity of the leather, just the aesthetics (and your bum covers it up while you're riding, anyway!). I am selling this saddle because my young horse, whom it fit, had to be put down and I haven't really used it on any horse since. It has been sitting in my house for over six months now. I LOVED this saddle for trail riding, as it has a nice deep seat the the poleys in front to keep you stable. Ths saddle sells with an almost-new girth and saddle pad, since I hardly had a chance to use any of it before my horse died. I've included pictures of the saddle, including the staining on the seat, and the girth and pad. If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask ~ I will get back to you as soon as my dial-up allows! The saddle and girth's measurements are as follows:Girth is 29" buckle end to buckle end (I can't find an actual measurement stamped on it)Saddle seat is 16" pommel to cantle (see picture)Seat depth is 4 1/2"The width of the pommel at the top is 2 3/4" and the width where the saddle would sit on the shoulder/wither area is 4 1/2" (I would classify the tree width as a medium to narrow-ish - it has PLENTY of wither clearance for a high withered horse)Flap length is 21 2/1"Poley height is 3"Gullet width at the stitch lines is about 5 1/2" to 5 3/4" (see picture)
