These kayak carriers are different in others sold in that they are each individually custom made specifically for your kayak model. Customers have told me they tried the buggy dolly carts and adjustable ‘one size fits all’ kayak carts and they just don’t work well. To the best of my knowledge all of my customers satisfied. HOW IT WORKS- 1) As you are unloading your boat, ease the posts of the cart in the kayak scupper holes. (usually aft holes) The weight of the kayak keeps the cart in place. 2) Lift the bow end of the kayak and just walk it to where you want to go. 3) When the boat is in shallow water lift the stern and the cart falls off, ready to stow. 4) Taking the boat out of the water is just the opposite. The frame is made of sturdy sch40 PVC. A nice looking kayak cart. The high quality non-corrosive wheels are 10 inch diameter and 3 ½ inch wide. They have no problem rolling over most sand. They will never break or wear out. The axle is heavy duty 5/8 - 11 zinc-coated steel all-thread. Zinc slows corrosion. When ordering please specify what color you want, and which kayak you have. If your particular kayak is not listed on my web site I can custom make a kayak cart for most any SOT if you give me a little measurement information.
